The challenge
Decogolf distributes Hunter Douglas: curtains, blinds, lighting, wall coverings, flooring and textiles. Selling home decor at this level online comes with a double requirement: the catalog has to match the product visually, and the process has to accommodate both direct purchases and advice for projects that need measuring and a visit.
What I did
- WooCommerce e-commerce with the full catalog organized into eight product lines, the same way the store sells them.
- Carefully built product galleries, because in home decor the photo is the sales argument.
- A curtain motorization section, a business line of its own with dedicated content.
- WhatsApp integration as the advice channel: in this industry a good share of sales start with a conversation.
Result
The site went live in December 2024 with both paths covered: direct online purchase and advice by WhatsApp for projects. In 2025 the catalog was refreshed with new photos, and the site is still in production on the same build I delivered, without having needed a rebuild.
The work behind this case now has its own service page: WooCommerce online store.
The starting point
An official distributor of a premium home decor brand with no online catalog: sales depended on visits to the store, and the brand they represent expects a digital presence at the same level.
